you want classless? how about that port washington parent at harbor links on sunday at the PW and SACH match? late in the game he takes it upon himself to start a fight with another PW coach for being too close to the field. it was some guy with a camera and a PW parent, yelling at another PW coach and trainer like a lunatic. absolutely uncalled for. there is no room at harbor links so anywhere anybody stands is behind one of the field. this maniac parent with a camera was yelling like he found a guy in bed with his wife. no need for him to be there. why is that guy even taking pictures of 14 year old boys anyway? perv

the ref had to stop the game twice to move the coach and his team warming up from behind the goal. The coach was feigning deafness in response to the ref's direction to move his team. The game was stopped for two minutes in order to move the other team. The Port parent with camera was upset with the coach's antics and expressed his frustrations. if taking photos of your child makes one a "perv", then I would think that every parent would be a "perv" with your definition.

expressed his frustrations? he was WAY over the top. no need for parents to get involved here. let the ref handle it. when dumb parents like that get involved and overstep their boundries, bad things happen. that maniac was lucky the other port coach and trainer were calm. if either of those two were nuts like perv camera guy, there would have been a full scale brawl in front of all the kids. learn some composure and don't stick your nose where it dont belong you lowlife.

Way too soon to tell. Also don't know who will be going back to Nerp, pres league and whatever else. By this time next year D1 will actually be all the teams from D3 and down.

Many of the teams are pretenders. Deer Park is the #1 pretender. Kick and run, smash mouth soccer does not beat premier teams. Talk about a one dimensional team: kick it deep to the big player up top and let him score. Problem is that Dix Hills has their own big players, and unlike Deer Park, they have skill. Result: Dix Hills will take the division. Deer Park enjoy second place and either the Presidential or Colonial League. To get into NERP you will need both a D1 title and wins in major tournaments. You have none of the requirements. You remind me of a less talented HBC Fusion (2010 version). The difference is that the Fusion had a much better coach/trainer which translated into real wins. Bigger question for Deer Park is how long can they hold on to their best player? When will he jump to a better team?

So let me see, at 1:13am you had trouble sleeping and thought you would come on here and cast stones and try to create some controversy. So here is the response and I hope you will be better able to calm your nerves and get some much needed rest this evening. Deer Park will not compare themselves to anyone. They will simply play the team they are scheduled to play and try their hardest to be successful. If they lose they lose if they win they win. If they come in first place at the end of the season, then that's good for them. If they come in last they will simply work harder to get better for the next season as they have done for years. If players decide to leave the team we wish them the best of luck as the team will continue to grow and play without them. Dix Hills is a great team with an impressive resume. Competing against them will be a big challenge for Deer Park and every other team in the division. At the end of every game the better team that day will be victorious, it's that simple. If Deer Park is victorious against Dix Hills that's great for Deer Park that day as things could be different the next. Simply put the team will always try their best against all competition. As far as the team being one dimensional or pretenders, Premire, NERP, Colonial or smash mouth, whawhawha WHATEVER!!! I guess your sort of rant comes with the territory of being somewhat a little successful this season. But we know things could change in a heartbeat and you'll just attack the next group of kids. Once again WHATEVER. I hope this clarifies the views of the team and I hope you will be better able to get a full nights sleep tonight.

Im trying to find out if the PDP results are out yet and will they have more than one team? Or is it only one team, with a 25 player roster? Does anyone know?

The fact that a Premier team such as DHE had the need to come back to D1 and 'bless' other teams in D1 with their mere presence, just goes to show you the 'dimensions' of any given team. Perhaps the top 2 or 3 D1 teams should be permitted to go back to D2 just to boost morale and that way-- we can make room for those teams that have no where to go in the FAll after a season in any league out there designed to play only in the spring. That way they can come all come back during the Fall and they can play themselves. If Deer Park can hang with the best of them-so be it. You clearly have issues with DP as you did with HBC Fusion and perhaps it's personal- who knows-not for us to decide here. I don't personally know either team but I do know what it feels like to be ruled out and coming back to take it all. What I can say just as a mere spectator here is that here we are in week 4 and once again DP proved to be victorious. 'Prentending' or not, they're winning so maybe you should pipe down and see what the rest of the season brings.
