why would a smithtown parent predict they will lose 10-0? Clearly this was a shot at George who said "he heard smithtown could of beat DP 10-0. Maybe it was DP coach? And if all of you have such big marbles why are your post ananymous as well?? I figured I'd help with your mystery. I am the DP Coach and I don't make predictions and I log in to post. As far as the Smithtown Coach and I, I reached out to him via email after I was informed about his original post rather then feeding the hate on this board. We spoke like two adults and he and I are cool. I respect what his boys do on the field, his parents are great, his trainer is extremely nice and we as a team have absolutely no issues with what was said or anything to do with their team. The coach was obviously upset by what he read and he was sucked into the blackhole of hate, it happens. I've been doing this to long to actually think that anything said here matters or effects the way our team goes about the game of soccer. I personally wish Smithtown all the best. Wish everyone else a good season as well.

wow, for a team that was a middle of the table team in D2 last year, DP sure is garnering lots of attention on this board.

Wish everyone else a good season as well. Coach it's good to hear that peace has been made. As for the blackhole of hate the Smithtown coach clearly started it by attacking a post with his reply. Not once did anybody attack Smithtown Chelsea, the kids, the parents, or the coach prior to his reply. It's a mystery as to why he was initially insulted by a prediction. In my opinion he should of chose his words better when replying. The coach brought negativity/hate upon himself by attacking others. It's also good to see that you didn't take offense to his post about what the score could have been when they played against you. Good luck to your team this season I hear that your heart and mind are in the right place and your doing your best to do the right thing. It shows in your replay too, makes me wish I lived in Deer Park. Kudos to you.

Does everything have to be about the D1? As I hear it the coach is doing the right thing for the kids. Stop hating and get over your jealousy. Just to cut you off at the pass I'm not a DP parent.

You took it the wrong way, or maybe I wrote it poorly. I meant as opposed to the big bad Crush who everyone likes to attack because they're at the top of this age group. That's what we do in this country, we root for the underdog and when they get to the top, we look to tear them down.
So what I meant was that DP is not quite at the top to be getting all this negative time on the board.

Brentwood 3, Commack 1
HBC Crush 3, HBC All-Stars 2 **We'll see if the All-Stars are for real**
Dix Hills 4, Hauppauge 3
East Islip 3, HBC Chelsea 2
Bayport 5, Northport 1
HBC All Stars have looked good this fall in league and in tourneys. This will be a big test. HBC Chelsea should give East Islip a run for their money.
