Lets try this again with the teams that have a good shot at winning each division.

S1 - DH, KP, Commack, HBC (DH favorites)

S2 - Bayport, LG, HBCF, HBCL, EI, Sachem (probably the most wide open division)

S3 - Smithtown, DH, SH, VOB (Smithtown favorites)

S4 - WI Riptide, Elwood (don't see anyone else challenging)

S5 - Bayport, Terryville, Mastic (Terryville had a bad spring but dropped 2 divisions and I believe stayed intact)

S6 - Stony Brook (no other contenders)

S7 - All new teams. Too hard to say.

I expect the same four teams to lead the division this year but N1 should have some great games beyond the top teams with the additions. Welcome EM ****an ECLN club ( I could not resist), POB, and Valley Stream who should compete well with the teams in the middle of last seasons rankings. I am impressed with the work ethic of all the kids in this division and us adults need to work hard to keep it fun for them. Good season to all!

A few pages back it was posted that the Levittown team split up. It doesn’t take much as a team that starts off with 12 kids last fall at U10 usually loses a kid along the way and if two more of your kids decide to play elsewhere the team is down to nine. If you cant’s recruit easily as a top team or a destination club the other kids on the team start trying out for other teams and it is all over. Good luck Levittown girls as you are a good bunch of kids.

D2 - Bayport? I don't see that happening. Sachem will beat every team in D2, Bayport won't even come close to being at the top. Just because Sachem didn't work out in D1 doesn't mean they wont come back and do what they did to get to D1 to begin with. And behind Sachem I say either HBC Force or LG Blast. This is a tight division, these kids better come out strong. All of them. These teams have some tough kids, it's going to be a good season.

Foolish to say Sachem will beat every team, some pretty good teams in D2, I will say it would not suprise me if they finish on top or near it but also would not suprise me if HBC Force or LG Blast finish on top. It will take a full season fot it all to play out so be patient. I can assure you Bayport will not be on top.Must be a Bayport parent or the J.A. that runs their league posting that.

No way BP in 2nd. HBC Force, LG Blast and Sachem will be the top three.

Bayport is a nice team, nice story, play hard, but just doesn't have enough fire power up front to win in D2. They don't bring in outside players to better the team - home grown only. Their best player by far left the team 2 seasons ago, playing up an age group and D1 on a great team. It is what it is. Good luck.
