And who will they be sending to the "national camp". Another farce.

They have the current regional players returned to the camp and the new ones were not even given the chance. The new players felt they were not given a fair look and most admitted that politics were obviously in play. Some of them already gave up saturday night. The coaches should have distanced themselves a little bit from the old players during the camp to create a fair competitive environment. My daughter said it is obvious they already know whom they are going to pick from the start. The weekend event left a sour taste at the end of a good experience the past six months. Despite this disappointing weekend, it was still a good experience totally worth the 1300K we paid for the odp program.

By the way, this weekend's camp was not to create a regional pool but to create a region 1 team.
The list is already finalized the coaches no longer need to deliberate.

Not really the 96 thread. GU16 this year comprises both 95's and 96's due to the birth date thing. The title of this thread is GU16 Fall 2011/Spring 2012.

Nitwit, GU16 as with all the age groups include players that have birthdays that fall between 2 calendar years ( the cut off date is July 31). In the GU16 group that would be players born after July 31st in 1995 and before August 1st in 1996.
I guess you are new to this, better late than never.

I read last week that Gary Sullivan joined Prime time. What does this mean for the silent thunder?
