The reason people would play for WB is coach is affiliated with the Rough Riders program. They see the possibility of some better training (questionable at best) and a better team in the future due to their coach. WB Coach has ALOT of baggage. He left BP before they were really started. Has been involved with Hota, HBC, ROugh RIders, and now WB. Seems like a decent enough guy, but looks like he was always looking for greener pastures for his kid (and himself. Alot of stops in just a couple of years. I'd be leary of him.

As for WB parents. They seemed a bit over the top, but I don't think they're as bad as they're being made out to be. Maybe they calmed down because of some of the discussions that have gone on here. DH parents should have no problem fitting in with this bunch. Some of them (mostly coach) are a bit over the top themselves.

I am telling you the WB parents are all nice people and the boys are all nice kids... it's the one absolutely crazy lady (goalies mom) that gives the rest of the parents a black eye.

Division 1 looks very even. It wouldnt surprise me to see a team at the bottom finish in the top 3. It should be a fun fall. My guess is EI will find a way to stay towards the top. They have a few amazing athletes.

Freudian slip refferring to D1 as S1. NHP, Albuttsun, and Farmingdale are all better than Bayport. N1 was the tougher division in the spring. It is funny that in S1 Crush, Bayport, and All-Stars did all the self promotion and chirping on this board, and East Islip keeps winning the division. Mr. Bayport, you may want to reconsider your top 5 teams.

What will be the rankings for d2?

I sure hope that the people running RPL try to mix it up a little and have more nyc and westchester teams playing against these teams. It would suck if we play the same teams on sundays as we do on saturdays. That was one of the disillusionments with the jss last season.The only good thing was nassau and suffolk were not together in LIJSL so at least you got to play some new teams. Now with the combining it could get boring.
