Keep in mind now for the alignments that will have 3 or 4 teams from CJSL since now both leagues are together. These league has 3 divisions like 8 or 10 teams per division. I am assuming that 5 teams will join Nassau divisions and 4 or 5 to Suffolk in at least the top 3 divisions. Looking forward to play very good teams like BGW and others.

This means that we are going to go to the city at least for 2 games, not bad. In exchange we'll get to play good teams

CJSL has 3 division 10 teams in div. A, 6 teams in div. B and 10 teams in div. C. The best team in the city u-11 BGW Celtics don't play in these groups, they play up.

I heard CJSL teams are not going to be part of the LIJS groups. There are going to be just cross-league games between both leagues.

Aligments will be ready end of the month.....also just a fact about next Fall 2010. If all the teams stay, we will have 9 divisions, yeap 9:
N1 and S1-->Div 1 and 2
N2 and S2-->Div 3 and 4
N3 and S3--> div 5 E and W
N4 and S4--> div 6 E and W
N5 and S5 --> div 7 E and W
N6 and S6 --> div 8 E and W
N7--> div 9W

The question is how many teams will disappear or in other words how many teams won't have enough kids to play 11 vs 11 plus subs? A lot of players movement next May and June in tryouts. Best players of div 3 and 4 teams will try to go to div 1 and 2 teams...it is just a fact.....looking forward for the alignments. Congrats to the sportsmanship winners

MSC Mavericks just lost another of their best players to HBC; recruited I hear thru the vine. Its a shame, they were making quite a comeback after being dropped by LIJSL to D2 in the fall.
