Spain vs. Italy

Spain played better , but needed a PK shoot out to advance. They finally won a PK shootout, after having lost all of their previous EURO and Worldcup PK shootouts.

BTW: Forgot to mention the German ref had a rough day at the office missing many fouls or whistling trifling ones. Spain should have had a PK or at least a FK a few times.

Don't know who the AR was, but he missed the same calls

"italians were so boring and predictable"

They never tried to win and were hoping to get through with a lucky break and then sitting on it (as they usually do).
More and better chances by Spain.

Donadoni will most likely be fired. He took the same old same old, instead of changing the team into a more youthful side.

Germany vs. Turkey 3:2

A very good game and the Turks were as resilient as they were all EURO:-)

Let's hope Russia Spain is a good one.

Deserved win for Spain, they had more and better chances than the 1:0 would make you believe.

Germany needs to find a better defense . It is okay to be big, strong and tall, but SPEED kills:-)

Thankfully the German press acknowledges that the Spanish team was the best and after 44 years of waiting for a major title: Congratulations.

(Almost makes me think of the NY Rangers)
